Diode Laser Driver ATLS100MA103

Diode laser driver is designed for driving diode lasers. ATLS100MA103 is a low noise laser driver, which is a part of 103 laser driver series. This laser driver outputs a maximum current of 100mA with low noise. There are more current options in this series, such as 200mA, 250mA, 500mA and 1A, and the corresponding products are ATLS200MA103, ATLS250MA103, ATLS500MA103, and ATLS1A103.
The output noise is as low as ≤1.5µVP-P @0.1Hz to 10Hz. There is a high absolute accuracy, <0.1%. The power supply voltage ranges from 3.3V to 5.5V. Moreover, there is a wide operating case temperature, from −40 ~ 85°C. There is a over temperature protection circuit inside the laser driver. When the temperature exceeds 120°C, the laser driver will shut down automatically by itself in order to prevent from being damaged by over heat. When this happens, it usually takes a few or tens of seconds for the laser driver to cool down before restart.

High Voltage Laser Diode Driver ATLS8A214D

Diode laser driver is designed for driving diode lasers. ATLS100MA103 is a low noise laser driver, which is a part of 103 laser driver series. This laser driver outputs a maximum current of 100mA with low noise. High Voltage Laser Diode Driver ATLS8A214D

ATLS8A214D is an electronic module that is used for driving one or more high voltage diode lasers at the same time. This laser driver belongs to 214 series high voltage laser driver, and it has the maximum output current in this series, 8A. In this series, the other two laser driver is ATLS4A214D and ATLS6A214D.
The input voltage of this laser driver is the same as other laser drivers in this series, from 5V to 14V. The output ripple voltage is as low as < 4mV@500 kHz. The current stability is as high as < ±600μA@8A &-20°C~80°C. The efficiency is higher than 92%, so there is no need for any heat sinks.
This laser driver comes with a compact size, 27.4×21×5.7 (mm), and has a six sided metal case outside the inner components, which blocks the incoming and outgoing Electro-Magnet Interferences.

Sorting, storing and finding a SMD (Surface Mount Device) – sometimes called SMT (Surface Mount Technology), components is not easy, this is because they are so tiny and there are so many kinds of them: different sizes, values, types, etc. There is a good news: a special enclosure has been developed and made available by Analog Technologies, Inc., for solving this problem. The product is called Super SMD/SMT Component Enclosure. It is a big box with a big cover, underneath, there are 128 compartments, each of them has a dedicated lid; each lid has a small handle for opening and closing the lid and, under the handle, there is a legend area for marking the values of the parts inside. After using, close all the small lids and the big cover which has resilient foam pad. When the big cover closes, this foam (shown in yellow) pad presses all the small lids downward so that they remain locked even under severe shocking and vibration, see the drawing:
Therefore, this enclosure is not only being a convenient solution for storing and sorting small parts, but also a reliable means for transporting them. By doing this, eliminate all “fatal” mistakes when using a wrong value components in a critical place of a circuit. Meanwhile, it is quite convenient to use these kits. See the figure below:

ATLS6A214D is a high voltage laser diode driver with wide input voltage range and high output current. New Peltier Controller TECA1-xV-xV-DAH

TECA1-xV-xV-DAH is a new peltier controller released by our company. Peltier controllers is widely used in regulating the object temperature by driving peltier modules (TEC modules) with high stability, high efficiency, high energy efficiency, zero EMI, and a compact package.

TECA1-xV-xV-DAH is an improved version of TECA1-xV-xV-D. TECA1-xV-xV-DAH has a higher accuracy than TECA1-xV-xV-D, please refer to the table below.

This table shows that the voltage difference between VTEMPand VTEMPSP ofTECA1-xV-xV-D is ≤25mV, while the voltage difference between VTEMPand VTEMPSP ofTECA1-xV-xV-DAH is ≤0.5mV, ten times lower than that of TECA1-xV-xV-D. Moreover, Offset Object temp. vs. set-point temp. of TECA1-xV-xV-DAHis ±0.004°C or ±0.5mV, while that of TECA1-xV-xV-D is±0.1°C or ±15mV. Thus, it’s easily seen that the TECA1-xV-xV-DAHperforms better than TECA1-xV-xV-D.

In the part number TECA1-xV-xV-DAH, the1st x indicates the power supply voltage, and it can be 3.3V or 5V; the 2nd x stands for the maximumoutput voltage across TEC, e.g. TECA1H-5V-5V-D. The above two specifications can be specified by the customers.

High Output Current Laser Driver ATLS4A214D

ATLS4A214D is the diode laser driver in the high output current and input voltage laser driver 214 series, which are designed to drive one or more diode lasers simultaneously with up to 4A well controlled output current at high efficiency of 90%. High efficiency makes the laser driver generate small amount of heat, which needs no heat sinks during normal operation. In this series, there are other two laser drivers, i.e. ATLS6A214D and ATLS8A214D. These two laser drivers come with different maximum output currents, 6A and 8A respectively.
The input voltage ranges from 5V to 14V. There are dual independent current set ports, which are digitally controlled to switch between them for setting the output current. This feature allows users to modulate the laser digitally with two preset current values. Dedicated ports are used to monitor actual laser current and laser driver temperature. When the laser driver temperature exceeds 120°C, the laser driver will shut down the output stage by itself.

High Voltage Laser Driver ATLS3A212D

ATLS3A212D is the one in high voltage laser driver series, with the largest maximum output current, 3A. Same to other high voltage laser drivers in this series, the input (power supply) voltage range is from 4.5V to 16V. When powered by a 15V supply, this laser driver can output a maximum voltage of 14V. There are more options for maximum output current, i.e.ATLS500mA212DATLS1A212D, and ATLS2A212D.
This high voltage diode laser driver is designed to meet the urgent requirements for driving high voltage diode laser or multiple diode lasers simultaneously. The laser drivers come with many features, such as wide input voltage range, high efficiency (more than 90%), wide modulation bandwidth, direct digital modulation control, low output current noise, fully shielded, compact size, etc. There are two packages available, DIP package and SMT package. The former can be evaluated conveniently by an evaluation board, ATLS212EV1.0.

High Voltage Diode Laser Driver ATLS2A212D

Among 212 series of high voltage diode laser drivers, ATLS2A212D comes with a maximum 2A output current and power supply voltage range of 4.5V to 16V. We also provides laser drivers with different maximum output currents, such asATLS500mA212DATLS1A212D, and ATLS3A212D. The power supply voltage range of them remains the same.
The current stability of this high voltage laser driver is as high as < 250µA, under the condition of 2A, and the temperature of −20°C ∼ 80°C. The output ripple voltage is very low, < 4mV at 500 kHz. The output current noise is ultra low, < 12µA@0.1Hz ~ 10Hz. This high voltage diode laser controller comes with a wide modulation bandwidth: DC ∼ 10 kHz. Moreover, there is no heat sinks needed thought the efficiency is up to ≥92%. All these features make it a high performance high voltage diode laser driver.
