igh voltage power supply is designed for achieving DC-DC conversion from low voltage to high voltage. It has been widelyused in industry, agriculture, national defense, scientific research and many other fields, such as X-ray machine high voltage power supply, laser high voltage power supply, particles injection high voltage power supply in semiconductor technology, physical vapor phase deposition high voltage power supply, and nanolithography high voltage power supplyetc.
ATI has released multiple types of high voltage power supplies with different input and output voltages, and different output currents, mainly including ATHV12V3KV1RMAW, ATHV12V3KV3MAW, ATHV12V3KV5MAW, ATHV12V3KV10MAW, AHV12V6KV1RMAW, ATHV12V6KV3MAW, and AHV30V18KVR5MAW. These power supplies come with high precision, full modulation range on output voltage, linear regulation and shutdown.
The input voltages can be 12V or 30V. The maximum output voltages can be 3kV, 6kV, and 18kV. The maximum output currents can be 1.0mA, 3.0mA, 5.0mA, and 10mA. These parameters can meet most of users’ requirements.
There is an internal protection circuit inside the high voltage power supply. However, high voltage short circuit should also be avoided.
In order to avoid electronic shock, the circuit should be insulated perfectly, especially between the high voltage output and the surroundings.

ATH10KL2A Series NTC Thermistors

ATH10KL2A Series NTC Thermistors are similar to another two series ntc thermistors, ATH10KL2B and ATH10KL2C. The inner thermistor head of ATH10KL2A is ATH10KR8, thus, they have very similar characteristics. ATH10KL2A has a metal ring lug packaged outside the inner thermistor head, which is used for easy mounting.
The ATH10KL2A series ntc thermistors include ATH10KL2A, ATH10KL2AT63 and ATH10KL2AT63S. The difference among them lies in the leads. The ATH10KL2A is the basic version with two bear leads, coated with copper, and the ATH10KL2AT63 has two leads covered with plastic tubing, while the ATH10KL2AT63S is the sealed version of ATH10KL2AT63. This series thermistors come with compact size and short response time.
The ring lug simplified the mounting process of the ntc thermistors. It’s recommended to use #2 imperial or M2.5 metric screw to fix the ntc thermistors onto a smooth metal surface of the object which needs temperature measurement.

High Voltage Laser Driver

Laser driver is an electronic module, which is designed for driving a serial of diode lasers. High voltage laser driver features an input voltage between 4.75V to 16V. this laser driver is of high efficiency, so it generates small amount of heat, thus, there is no need for a heat sink for normal operation.

This laser driver has a wide input and output voltage range and high output current capability. Moreover, it outputs low noise with high efficiency. The wide output voltage range allows driving one or multiple diode lasers simultaneously. The high voltage laser driver generates a high accuracy low noise reference voltage, which is applied for setting the output current

There are three control states, shutdown, standby and operation. The laser driver is packaged in 6-side metal enclosure, which prevents the laser driver and other electronics from interfering each other. Both DIP and SMT packages are available.

ATH10KL2B Series NTC Thermistors

Similar to ATH10KL2A and ATH10KL2C, ATH10KL2B is also a ntc thermistor assembly packaged in a ring lug. The inner ntc thermistor head is ATH10K1R25, thus, they have similar characteristics, while ATH10KL2B is for easy mounting.
The ntc thermistor head is encapsulated with glass, so it presents long term stability and reliability, and wide temp. range. The ring hole diameter is only 2.18mm, and the length of the two leads is 70mm. The ring size is smaller than the ATH10KL2C, which can be applied for different applications or requirements. The nominal resistance at 25°C is 10K. The temperature range is very wide, from −40°C to 270°C. It has a high precision, up to 1%. This series of ntc thermistors is 100% free of lead and RoHS complaint.
When mounting this ntc thermistor assembly, it’s recommended to use #2 imperial or M2.5 metric screw to fix it onto a smooth metal surface of the object which needs temperature measurement.

High Performance Peltier Controller

With the development of technology and science, thermal electric coolers (TECs) have been more and more popular in cooling system. TECs can cool and heat in the same time, depending on the direction of the input current. TECs have many advantages of no moving parts, no noise, no pollution and long service lifetime. These are the reason why TECs have been widely used in cooling system.
In order to keep the temperature stable when using TECs, our company (ATI) has designed and released a Peltier controllerwithhigh efficiency and reliability. Figure 1 is a typical one of Peltier controllers.

By using the Peltier controller, users can not only set the temperature and some other parameters, but also monitor and regulate the parameters in real time. It is very convenient to controller temperature. Because of being packaged in a metal enclosure, the controller can block the interferences from other electronics.

The ATH10KL2C is a thermistor assembly with a ring lug outside the glass encapsulated ntc thermistor. The ATH10KL2C series thermistor consists of three types, ATH10KL2C, ATH10KL2CT70 and ATH10KL2CT70S. The ATH10KL2C comes with two leads coated with copper, the ATH10KL2CT70 has the copper leads with high temperature plastic tubing and also sealed by epoxy, while the ATH10KL2CT70S is the sealed version of ATH10KL2CT70. The different types are applied to different applications. The sealed version is liquid resistant, so it can be used in the applications with some noncorrosive liquid.
With higher long term stability, higher reliability and wider temperature range. ATH10KL2C series thermistors have small sizes and short response time. As indicated in the part number ATH10KL2C, the nominal resistance @ 25°C is 10K. The ring lug length is 11.2mm, while the ring diameter is 3.02mm. The length of the two leads is 70mm. The temperature range is from −40°C to 270°C. The resistance accuracy is up to 1%.

Noise Measurement Amplifier

An oscilloscope can measure noise, but for ultra low noise, such as nV and µV level noises, it’s hard to measure. There is anoise measurement amplifier ATNMA1.0, which is used to test and measure ultra low noise that can’t be measured by an oscilloscope.
This noise measurement amplifier can detect and amplify the noise signals by touching the selected point. There are seven magnifications, 10,000×, 30,000×, 100,000×, 300,000×, 1,000,000×, 3,000,000×, 10,000,000×. There are also three filter bandwidths available: : 0.1Hz ~ 10Hz, 0.1Hz ~ 1kHz, 0.1Hz ~ 100kHz.
There are several parts in this amplifier, a rechargeable battery, a coaxial cable and probes. The rechargeable battery can be used for over 20 hours. The battery capacity is 500mAh. The charging voltage is 4.2V. There is a function to monitor the battery capacity. When battery indicator switch is pressed, it’s easy to observe if the battery needs to be charged. There are several LEDs on the amplifier, which shows the capacity. Meanwhile, when the battery is being charged, there are two charging display LEDs.

ATH100K1R25 Series Thermistors

ATH100K1R25 series ntc thermistors are high precision glass encapsulated thermistors with long term stability. Comparing with conventional epoxy encapsulated thermistors, ATH100K1R25 has a wider temperature range, especially on the high end applications, better long term stability, smaller size, and a shorter response time. Besides the bare leads, we provide two insulation versions. One is with the two leads covered by plastic tubing, and the part number is ATH100K1R25T70, and the other one, the ATH100K1R25T70S, is sealed between the thermistor head and the plastic tubing. All of the thermistors can work under up to 140°C temperature and the latter is liquid resistant.  The main parameters are shown in the table below.

High Voltage Laser Driver ATLSXA214

Laser driver with high output voltage is capable of driving one or more laser diodes simultaneously. The input voltage can be 5V to 16V, and the output voltage is from 0V to 15V. The laser driver generates ultra low output current noise : < 12µA@0.1Hz~10Hz, with high current stability <±600µA@4A &-20°C~80°C.
Though this laser driver comes with high efficiency >92%, it doesn’t need heat sink to dissipate heat, a small amount of heat.

The laser driver will shut down by itself when the temperature exceeds the temperature limit 120°C. Under shutdown mode, all the parts will stop working, while the input current is reduced to < 3µA. A loop good indication output is used to tell users if this laser driver is working well.

A high modulation speed can be achieved due to the output stage. There is an over current protection circuit in this laser driver, which prevents the laser driver from being damaged by over current. There is also a soft start circuit which allows the laser driver to increase its output current slowly during start up process and shut down the current quickly.

Evaluation Board of Laser Driver: ATLSXA212D

The laser driverseriesATLSXA212D comes with high efficiency, constant current, wide input and output voltage range, high output current capability, low output noise, wide modulation bandwidth, and compact size. It’s designed for driving one or multiple laser diode arrays. This laser driver series includes ATLS1A212D, ATLS2A212D and ATLS3A212D.
This laser driver series can be evaluated by its evaluation board, ATLS212EV1.0. It is designed for evaluating DIP package laser drivers conveniently.
The evaluating board ATLS212EV1.0comes with some excellent features. There are some solder pads on the four edges of the board for all the interface ports of the laser driver. There is an LED in the upper middle part of the board in order to indicate if the controller works properly. There is a terminal block on the left side of the board, which is used for connecting wires going into the ports of the laser driver. The output current can be measured by anammeter, which can be inserted between the 2 multi-meter lead sockets: AMMTR+ and AMMTR, located on the lower edge of the board.
Moreover, it is highly recommend to use this evaluation board with the dummy load diode assemblyto emulate one or multiple laserdiodes.
